Large Size Men's Rings - Sizes 16-20

We stock large men’s rings in sizes 16 through 20, half sizes included, so a size 16 ring or a size 20 ring is as readily available as a size 10. Rings for big fingers come in tungsten carbide, titanium, and stainless steel, in widths from 5mm to 9mm, starting at $25.67. Just Mens Rings carries one of the largest selections of large-size rings online.

Size 16 Ring and Size 17 Ring Options at Just Mens Rings

Both full and half sizes are stocked, so 16, 16.5, 17, and 17.5 are all ready to order today.

  • Tungsten carbide. Hardest surface of the three, best scratch resistance. From $58.85.
  • Titanium. Lightest of the three, hypoallergenic. From $25.67.
  • Stainless steel. Corrosion-resistant, the widest style range in this collection. From $37.45.

Widths run 5mm through 9mm in all three metals.

Best Materials for Large Men’s Rings: Comfort Fit for Wide Bands

A ring gets heavier as the size goes up. A size 19 band uses noticeably more metal than a size 9, and at 8mm or 9mm, you may feel the difference.

Tungsten is the heaviest of the three, titanium is the lightest, and stainless steel is in between. Jewelers of America notes that all three have become mainstays of men’s jewelry as affordable alternatives to precious metals.

Comfort fit for wide bands matters more here than at smaller sizes. A comfort fit band is domed on the inside instead of flat, so less of it touches your finger, and it clears the knuckle more easily. On a 9mm band, a flat interior presses a square edge into your skin across its full width.

Browse by metal: tungsten rings, titanium rings, stainless steel rings, or the full comfort fit rings collection.

How Do You Size a Ring When Your Knuckle Is Wider Than Your Finger?

Measure both spots and pick a size between the two readings. Knuckle sizing comes up at any hand size, though it matters more here because a 9mm band has more width to get past the joint than a narrow one. The ring has to clear the knuckle, but a size chosen for the knuckle alone will spin at the base.

Comfort fit adds one more variable, because a domed interior sits looser than a flat one. Our ring sizing chart suggests dropping about a half size for comfort fit styles, then reverses that advice for metals that can’t be resized, where the safer move between sizes is up. Nothing here can be sized down later, so err on the side of caution and go up a size.

One limit worth knowing: quarter sizes stop at 15.25. Above that, you’re working in half-size steps, which is another reason to measure twice instead of guessing. Our quarter-size ring collection covers everything below 15.25.

Can a Size 18, 19, or 20 Ring Be Stretched or Resized?

Only if it’s a precious metal. Ring stretching limits come down to the metal, not the jeweler:

  • Gold, platinum, palladium, and sterling silver. Resizable. A jeweler adds or removes metal.
  • Tungsten carbide. Not resizable and not stretchable. It’s hard rather than ductile, so it cracks instead of bending.
  • Titanium. Can be made larger only. Sizing down isn’t possible.
  • Stainless steel. Not resizable.

Tungsten carbide and stainless steel can’t be resized at all, and titanium only goes larger, so a jeweler can’t bring a size 18 ring down if it’s too big. Measure before you order. If the size still misses, our 30-day exchange policy covers unworn rings.

These sizes are stocked as standard, so nothing needs stretching or modifying to fit.
