Tungsten-Carbide rings- WC or W2C is a coupond containing the chemicals carbon and tungsten. The two chemicals are typically forged into rings at 2,400 degree fahrenheit using high pressure dies and some sort of binder (we use nickel). Once the process is complete the rings are then finished using diamond tools to produce the hardest jewelry ever to be hand made.

Our Tungsten rings are coblat free. It is very important when searching for a tungsten ring that you seek out the more expensive and longer lasting cobalt free rings. We use a nickel binder in all of our tungsten cardide rings and our QA test results are always available to customers who are interested.

Tungsten Rings are so very hard that they are impossible to re-size once made. That is why we recommend you get your finger measured twice before ordering. We also offer a free* ring size exchange on all of our Tungsten Rings ($25 one time shipping and handling fee at the time of exchange)

You can aslo order your own ring size for just $6.99, and it ships free.

Remember at Just Mens Rings, we specialize in Men's rings, our favorite rings to sell or the hard as hell tungsten rings. They are little more expensive than steel or titanium, but they are worth it. We do have a great selection of stainless steel rings and titanium rings but your best value is Tungsten. Our prices are so low you will never buy a mans ring anywhere else.

Trends in Men's Wedding Bands

5/22/2008

We firmly believe men should put more thought into the wedding band that they are going to wear for the rest of their lives. Men by nature are very active and can be rough on rings and other jewelry. A guys wedding ring should be able to take the pounding and the wear and tear that most men are going to give it. I personally have a gold band, I really want to switch to a stainless or a titanium wedding band but my wife insist that if I switch my wedding band that we will have to have a new ceremony. The gold ring I wear is so scratched and dented that I am embarrassed to wear it. I am even more embarrassed that I own/have over 10,000 men's rings in my warehouse and I am wearing a wedding band the looks like it was found on the street.
when I bought my current wedding band, the jeweler did not really care if the ring was going last me a lifetime he just wanted to move an expensive ring. Men need to be advised, 'Don't buy gold rings if you are active or work with your hands.'

Men really need to buy rings made of titanium or stainless steel or if they are really active they should look into a tungsten carbide wedding ring. Tungsten will forever hold its polish no matter what kind of beating a guy gives it.

Long term as men realize that gold wedding bands are for the ladies, and that real men need a hard metal band, I think we will see a lot more interesting things being done with Stainless Steel, Titanium and Tungsten.

Five Reason to buy a Hard Metal ring for your wedding band

  1. Hard metal rings like Tungsten and Stainless Steel will last a lot longer and look good taking a beating.
  2. Hard metal rings are far more affordable, a stainless steel wedding band can cost you under $30 with shipping.
  3. Titanium rings are so light you might forget you are wearing it. (don't tell your fiancee this one, she will make you get gold)
  4. Guys have better things to spend their money, like a nice diamond for the bride to be
  5. Gold is $900 an ounce.. Buy a stainless steel wedding ring, spend the money you save on a nice honeymoon.

Remember, if you are in the market to buy a man's ring you need to be looking at the hard metals. Precious metals do not hold up to a man's life style. If you are looking for a men's ring, please remember Justmensrings.com for all of your men's ring needs.
